I used an old sail to make the sunroof over the cockpit.

I attached a piece of material to the cushion to cover the head.

Sail/Spinnaker Memories

My friend gave me his old spinnaker and told me to do whatever I wanted to it.  I cut the area of the sail numbers out, added a piece of each color from the spinnaker, embroidered the boat name and his name, and lastly I sewed on Columbia Yacht Club racing flag logos.  I used each point of the sail (tack, clew, and head) to hang it up.  It measures 7' X 7'

I presented him his "Memory Sail"  at an appreciation gathering.

These are name tags that were made from a spinnaker.  When people go on boats and stow their bags, it make it much easier to find it.  Also, I use a piece of Velcro to attach it onto any bag.

I was given some left over race flags and decided to create a bag.  I use it for transporting and packing pairs of shoes.  You can uses it for whatever you want. It measures 18" x 11".

This is a gift I made for a friend.  I was visiting her at her  high-rise condo that overlooks Lake Michigan. I noticed on her kitchen bulletin board that she created a paper envelope for her laundry card.  I thought it would be cute to make a holder for her card made from a spinnaker.
